Your data and your books

Privacy Notice

This notice explains how the operator of AI eBook Pro handles personal data when you use AI eBook Pro.

Who controls your data

The controller's legal name must be configured before the service is publicly advertised. Controller contact details must be configured before the service is publicly advertised.

What we collect

Why we use it

We process account, book, credit and payment data to provide purchases, unlock books, add credits, maintain payment records, support customers and perform our contract with you. We process limited technical data for our legitimate interests in security, reliability, fraud prevention and abuse prevention. We will ask for separate consent before sending optional marketing messages.

Service providers and international processing

Book instructions and content needed for text generation, and titles, topics and cover instructions needed for image generation, are sent to OpenAI. Card details are entered into Stripe-hosted form fields inside AI eBook Pro; Stripe processes the payment and returns payment status and safe transaction details. These providers may process data outside your country. Their processing is governed by our provider arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards. Do not submit sensitive personal data that is unnecessary for your book.

Cookies and advertising measurement

AI eBook Pro uses a strictly necessary PHP session cookie to keep you signed in and to protect requests. It is required for the service to work and is not used for advertising.

We also use measurement and advertising tags to understand which advertisements bring people to AI eBook Pro and whether they go on to buy. These are Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads conversion tag, both supplied by Google, and the Meta pixel, supplied by Meta. They record pages viewed, book-start and credit-pack selections, and completed purchases, including the amount paid and our own payment reference. They do not receive your book content, your password or your card details.

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, these tags do not run until you accept them, and you may reject them. Your choice is stored in a cookie named aiebookpro_consent for six months. Clear your cookies for this site to be asked again. Outside those regions the tags run without a prompt, as local law permits; you can block them with your browser or an ad blocker, and AI eBook Pro works normally if you do.

Turnstile, supplied by Cloudflare, checks that a new registration comes from a person rather than a script. It is a security measure, it runs for everyone, and it does not track you across other websites.

Retention and security

We keep account and book data while the account is active and as needed to provide the service. Payment and transaction records may be retained for support, dispute handling and legal or accounting obligations even when other account data is no longer needed. Generated files are stored outside the public web root and are served only after an ownership check. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to certain processing. You may complain to your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Changes

We will update the date above when this notice changes materially. Important changes will be communicated in the service when appropriate.
